Spring is that enchanting season where I head out in a cozy sweater at dawn and by lunchtime wonder why I didn’t just throw on a dang T-shirt. Dressing for a time of year that can’t decide if it’s warm or chilly always feels like a fun (and slightly frustrating) adventure. On one hand, I’m itching to pull out my lighter layers and softer colors, but on the other, I’ve done my fair share of shivering in sandals or sweating under a heavy coat I definitely didn’t need. In April, my closet straight-up looks like it’s having an identity crisis: coats hanging next to sundresses, boots snuggling with my sandals, you get the picture.

But honestly, isn’t that part of the fun? It’s all about layering, mixing, and embracing whatever mood Mother Nature is in. Over the years, I’ve discovered a few hero pieces that make dressing for unpredictable weather way easier. Here are my current favorite coats, denim jackets, layering knits, bottoms, and shoes that’ll help you navigate those bipolar spring days. Below are new and pre-loved items, all ethically made - duh, (or second-hand), made mostly of natural fibers, with as many size-inclusive options as I could find.
